Tuesday Tip: Identify your biggest distraction, eliminate it for one week, and see what happens!

Distractions are your number one enemy when it comes to keeping your focus and accomplishing your daily goals. For some, it's email, for others, it's social media, and for some, its interruptions from the people around them. The key to being more productive is to identify what triggers get in your way and eliminate them.

For example, if your trigger is email, schedule a specific time each day to answer email, and then turn off notifications and shut down your email. If you work in a busy office, don't be afraid to politely make it clear to your colleagues that you don't want to be disturbed, or get away from distracting environments to find somewhere quiet to work.
